Profile Information

About Me:
Lifelong resident of Kekaha, Kaua'i (71 of my 72 years in the same residence, 4614 Koke'e Road). Varied interests including watershed council priorities with emphasis on re-establishing contemporary applications to the ahupua;a system, community concerns, compassionate health care system, and an eductional system that nurtures the child's interests, talents, abilities, and individuality.

Regarding your request for support in your petition drive

All right! Just keep me posted. In the mean time, make sure that you provide me all the pertinent information that I may need to "talk up" the purposes and intents of the petitions. I am aware of those who want to KNOW EVERYTHING before they affix their names to anything (and you can't blame them for being cautious). Understandably, there are all kinds of "good causes" floating around, so the competition to get support has gotten to be stiffer.

Nevertheless, it's important to keep the fires burning! Good luck, take care, and God bless!

We met each other in 1964...makes us really makule guys doesn't it...44 years...a very long time...we have really seen the changes...first visted Kauai from Oahu 65 years ago.as a very young child...do not remember much except fell out of be on the interisland boat(The Humaula I believe) at night in rough weather...we could have told them the super ferry would never work couldn't we! Perhaps when oil doubles in price a sailing ship would be in order.

I'm glad you are participating, regardless of the extent. We have much to learn from eachother as we strive to build effective coalitions across all our areas of concern.

Just got on board....scoping the territory. I don't know to what extent I may be involved.....as an observer, a contributor, or a respondent to ideas being articulated. I believe in dialogue. However, there comes a time when "talk" has to evolve into "walk", but it is in the manner and style in which we stroll or march that makes a difference to me!
