Date: Tuesday, March 11, 2008
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall, Conference Room
This is an opportunity to let our state representatives, Speaker of the House Calvin Say, and Vice-Speaker Pono Chong know how important the moratorium on GMO Taro, the Koke'e bills, pesticide spraying on the westside, and bunker fuel burning at Nawiliwili are to Kaua'i people. There are many other important bills to both support and oppose as they cross legislative chambers. Check out the 2008 bill tracker for more information on legislation this session.
From Gary Craft:
Aloha all, Rep. Tokioka stopped by yesterday and related the importance of this upcoming meeting. It is one of the last hopes to save our legislative efforts of this year. Although 2919 appears dead, 2526 needs support for its cross-over to the House - and these are the guys! Please attend and bring friends - they see it as numbers...gc
