Taking Action to Kokua Kauai

IMPORTANCE OF RECYCLING INK AND TONER LOCALLY!

Aloha friends! We all know that recycling anything is very important, especially for those of us living on a small island. I can't think of any business, or most homes for that matter, that does not print documents at some point. The ink and toner business is a multi-billion dollar a year industry and most people don't realize how much waste is involved with the process of buying ink and toner, again, especially when you live on an island. Most people go to their local department store or office supply company and buy a new cartridge, it is then used in their business or home until exausted. Then what? Well, there are only a couple of options. Some companies offer free return shipping to their facility where it may or may not be recycled, either way you had to ship that cartridge back to the mainland(pollution, pollution, pollution) and you are left with the need to buy another, at a hefty price I may add, repeating the process all over again.(don't forget the cartridge had to get to the island somehow, pollution, pollution, pollution). Another option, which is not too bad. Donate your empties to your local school or community organization. Like I said, not too bad because the school/organization can then ship them(pollution.pollution, pollution) to a recycling facility and get a small amount of money for them. The final option? As I have heard from many local businesses, the garbage(landfill, landfill, landfill) seems to be the only other way. You can see that there is a lot of wastefulness involved. Not any more! All of the aforementioned is why I have started a business on Kauai that will recycle your empties, for free, professinaly rebuild or refill them, and sell them back to you for a fraction of the cost! Thus eliminating; the need to figure out what do with empties, buying expensive new ones(wal-mart,office max,costco,etc...), tons of pollution, filling up our landfills, and just plain wastfulness! We also will give you back money for every cartridge that is properly recycled, which you can then give to schools, charity, or whatever you like! It's a no-brainer people(why not,why not,why not) you save money and our precious island!!! We should all utilze this business for the sake of our wallets and our future! You can find out more about my business by calling, e-mailing, or visiting our website. Thanks for your time and Aloha!
